Last night GFC Firefighter Justin Fusaro was awarded a life saving merit award at the Bridgeport Borough Council meeting for his live saving efforts at the Bridgeport Suites fire in February of this year. Justin was at work where he is a Captain in the Upper Merion Fire Department and Justin and his crew arrived on scene and assisted in the early stages of the incident.

Congratulations Justin, we are proud of you.

In addition, Gladwyne Fire Company also received a Unit Citation for this fire for the response and work from Ladder 24 and the crew.
