Last night members from numerous Lower Merion Fire Companies held a Township wide training session. Volunteers from Bryn Mawr, Penn Wynne, Ardmore and Gladwyne collaborated with local experts for an evening of hands-on training. Members focused on three skill sets; roof ventilation, search and rescue techniques and breaching of doors and walls.
Thanks to local business owners, the drill took place at the site of the soon-to-be new Whole Foods in Wynnewood. We were glad to assist in the pre-demolition.
