At 1302 hrs today Station 39 was dispatched to a RV fire on Blue Route (I-476) southbound. Squad 39-1 arrived on scene with a fully involved RV fire. Given the size of the RV, Station 23 and 43 were added to the assignment. Following a special dispatch at the request of FM 34-1, Engine 24 responded and supplied the standpipe on Montgomery Ave. Engine 24 laid 400 feet of 5" inch from the hydrant to the standpipe. Engine 24 remained in service for over an hour and twenty minutes.
