Tonight for drill we gathered at the firehouse to practice tying knots! This class was done to prepare use for an upcoming "Line Systems" class that is being held in August. This is the last class in our series of classes to be certified in all aspects of water rescue. This class will focus on tying a boat off in rapid water utilizing ropes, pulleys and various anchor points. This was a great introduction into knot tying! Thanks to our dedicated Water Rescue Instructor Joe Dishler for coming out and getting us started.
