Today just after lunch Gladwyne Firefighters were called upon to assist Swedeland Firefighters in Upper Merion for a building fire in a book warehouse. Upon the arrival of Engine 24-1 we teamed up with the FAST Team from The Fairmount of Norristown and provided safety to all of the firefighters operating on the Fire Ground from Swedeland, Swedesburg, King of Prussia, and George Clay. Fortunately, we did not have to press into service and help any troubled firefighters. Engine 24-1 was back in Lower Merion in just under 2 hours. Excellent Job by the Swedeland crew keeing this one in check!
