Despite the temperatures rising to 102 on Wednesday, members of Gladwyne still showed up for weekly drill. This week the chiefs decided to focus on Water Rescue techniques and familiarizing our newer members with Marine 24, our water rescue boat. The guys took a trip down to the part of the Schuylkill River which runs along the Gladwyne boarder, in the past GFC has had many rescues on the river, including body recovery after major accidents.
