| This late afternoon Gladwyne firefighters were on stand by following a busy day. 5 firefighters in station responded to assist Bryn Mawr Fire Company and Radnor Fire Company a working house fire. Crew would arrive to a large single family dwelling with fire extending in the rear two floors and the attic. Engine 24 secured a second water supply, assisted with fire attack, and vertical vent. The air truck and a second alarm as well were called to assist with overhaul in the heat.
Gladwyne firefighters have remained busy through this holiday heat, participating in the Garret hill 4th of July parade and handling other emergencies.
