*Part Time Employment Opportunity*

Gladwyne Fire Company is looking to bolster its part time firefighter list.

Our current staff consists of three full-time career firefighters that work with the volunteer firefighters. GFC operates an Engine, Tiller, and two support vehicles along with a swift water complement.

Current career schedule rotation is:
9-hour shift: 7am-4pm
24-hour shift: 7am-7am

Part-time firefighters staff every Sunday’s 24-hour shift. In addition, part-time firefighters are used to staff shifts when the full-time career firefighters are on personal time off or vacation throughout the year.

The career and part-time firefighter are responsible for firehouse duties, daily apparatus equipment checks, operating all apparatus, responding to all dispatched fire incidents, extinguishing fires, and other duties as assigned.
