Last night, Gladwyne Firefighters along with Firefighters from Belmont Hills Fire Company gathered at the Philadelphia Country Club for our annual Ice Rescue recertification drill

The drill was led by Captain Mike Schwartz who is in charge of our Swift Water rescue team at Gladwyne Fire Company.

All members of the Swift Water Rescue team are required to perform these skills annually.

Thank you to all of our firefighters who jumped into FREEZING cold water to practice skills that we all hope we never have to use.
