In typical fashion in Lower Merion, multiple fire calls all came in at the same time. This morning, Merion Fire Company of Ardmore was dispatched to a building fire and at the same time a vehicle fire was dispatched on Beechhill Road in the Wynnewood section of the Township. Engine 24 was sent to the vehicle fire to assist Narberth Fire Company who was already responding to the buidling fire.

Upon arrival of Engine 24, the crew found a “Porta Potty Truck” on fire. The crew utilized the front bumper line and quickly extinguished the fire. Engine 26-1 and Engine 26 also assisted at the scene after being recalled from the building fire.

Fortunately the crew kept the chemical toilet contents in the tank and away from the storm drains……..Clark Griswold would have been proud!
