Just prior to noon on May 28, stations 22, 24, Rescue 21 and Squad 39 were alerted for a vehicle rescue on I76 EB Gladwyne. E24 arrived to a jackknifed tractor trailer up the embankment. The crew confirmed on subject trapped in the cab. The crew went inservice with vehicle extrication tools. Belmont Hills Rescue 22 and Engine 24-1 arrived and went in service assisting with saws and further stabilization to assist in the removal of the patient. Chief 22 had the command, the patient was extricated, and turned over to the care of Narberth Ambulance.
