| Tonight Gladwyne Firefighters traveled to Ardmore to sit before the Township Commissioners who awarded FF Andy
Culbertson with a Township Commendation for his life saving actions on Saturday April 25, 2009. For those who do not know the story, the original web posting can be found below:
In the early evening hours on Saturday night Gladwyne Firefighter Andy Culbertson was in his personal vehicle driving on South Gulph Road in Upper Merion when he came upon an accident with the vehicle on fire. Andy quickly went up to the vehicle and found a female unconscious in the vehicle with fire impinging on her. Without hesitation, Andy reached in and pulled the female from the burning car and out of harms way. EXCELLENT JOB ANDY, we are all proud of your actions! |
