Busy Sunday For Gladwyne Firefighters

Starting for the day Gladwyne firefighters traveled to northern New Jersey to participate in training on complex and heavy commercial vehicle extrication for the day These firefighters practiced with safe techniques lifting and stabilizing large commercial vehicles, along with other departments from multiple different states.

In station crew members assisted Merion Fire Company of Ardmore on a commercial building fire for a short while contained to a kitchen.

Gladwyne Firefighters welcomed the Gladwyne Boy Scout Troop in learning about the operations of the firehouse and a basic lesson in first aid and cpr.

During the early hours of the morning Gladwyne and Belmont Hills Fire Company along with Narberth Ambulance handled 4 separate emergencies on Interstate 76 including multiple crashes, a car fire, and a medical emergency all unrelated to each other.
