| Tonight Gladwyne Firefighters responded to assist Norristown Fire Department with Air 24 to assist with lights at the scene of a vehicle accident on Rt-202 on the Dannehower Bridge. Just after 9pm a there was a motorcycle accident on the Northbound lanes of the Bridge and the passenger of the motorcycle flew off of the motorcycle, over the guard rail plunging over 50 feet into the Schuylkill River. Rescue boats and divers searched for hours in the river for the victim. The victim was found by divers in the early morning hours. Air 24 stood by for several hours providing lighting for the search, recovery and also the accident investigation team. |
