Just after 0700 this morning Gladwyne Firefighters along with Engine 25-1 (Merion Fire Company of Ardmore) were dispatched to a car fire in the area of Dodds Lane and Old Gulph Road.

Engine 24 responded immediately and upon arrival found a single vehicle parked on the side of Dodds Lane with the operator safely on the curb. The crew from Engine 24 quickly extinguished the fire.

All units were clear from the scene within 30 mins of being dispatched

There was no injuries and traffic was detoured around the scene for a brief period of time by the Lower Merion Police Department.
