Its a Great Day!

We received word that we have achieved our Pennsylvania State Swift-Water Rescue Type 1A Team in Montgomery County. We are honored to be one of 2 teams with this elite certification (Montgomery County USAR Team is also a Type 1 Team).

This certification is awarded by the PA State Fire Commissioner and the PA State EMS Director. The certification affirms that we are equipped and trained to the standards (Equipment, training and personnel) set forth by the following agencies:

PA DOH: Bureau of Emergency Medical Services

Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission

Office of the State Fire Commissioner
