The Lower Merion Township Volunteer Firefighter Relief Association was awarded a large grant to replace all of the SCBA (breathing apparatus) that our firefighters wear throughout the 7 fire companies that handle the fire protection in Lower Merion and Narberth. While the majority of the cost was taken care of by the grant, the Relief Association covered the difference of the cost.

The new SCBA who is manufactured by MSA have important upgrades from our old SCBA and will provide our firefighters with the safest breathing apparatus available.
