Gladwyne Firefighters spent their entire Sunday training at the Chester County Public Safety Training Campus in South Coatesville Chester County. The program is called "A Day in the Life of a Firefighter". The day was filled with multiple scenarios that were built out by the Fire Academy Staff. We responded to CO alarms, CO Emergencies, Fire Alarms, Car Fires, Propane Tank Fires, Building Fires, High Rise Fires, Building Investigations (lightning strikes) and a large multi building fire as the finale.

Out firefighters were exposed to all sorts of emergencies and were able to practice a variety of firefighting skills.

While most of our company was in Chester County, we had additional Gladwyne Firefighters in station to handle emergency calls in our Village. In fact the in station crew handled a fire alarm on Page Terrace.
