This chilly Thanksgiving morning Gladwyne firefighters were alerted around 6:30 am to assist Upper Merion Station 48, Swedeland, on the working fire dispatch. First arriving units reported a large two story garage converted to a house with heavy smoke showing. A long driveway and frigid temperatures resulted in a second alarm assignment dispatched as well. Engine 24 (Rapid Intervention Team) and Air 24 arrived quickly with 12 firefighters. Engine 24's crew was quickly put to work checking for extension and to assist with extensive overhaul. All members returned home safely to both warm up and clean up!

Great Job to everybody on scene!
