| Today we gathered to remember one of our fellow brothers who passed away on April 18, 2009. The Gladwyne Community Room was packed with Friends, Family and Fellow Firefighters to take part in a Memorial Service for Robert A. Sparks, Life Member and Retired Assistant Chief of the Gladwyne Fire Company. Stories were told, tears were shed, and a final salute to our friend was made with the bag pipes and the ringing of the bell from the Snorkel signaling Sparky's last alarm. Thank YOU to all of you that came to celebrate the life of Robert A. Sparks. REST IN PEACE SPARKY... |
