Gladwyne Firefighters were dispatched to assist Narberth Fire Company 0213 hrs this morning. Upon arrival, Firefighters found a large 2 story house fully involved in fire. Engine 24's crew laid 1000 feet of 5 inch house from the hydrant down the driveway to the house and deployed multiple handlines and the truck mounted deck gun to extinguish the heavy amount of fire that was coming from the house. Firefighters were able to put the fire under control in about thirty minutes, but remained on scene until daybreak putting out the hot spots.
