| Just after 530pm Gladwyne Firefighters were dispatched to assist the Swedeland Fire Company on Balligomingo Road for a house fire. Engine 24 responded as the FAST Team to work along side the Fairmount Fire Department of Norristown at the scene to ensure that should an emergency occur inside the fire building our teams would immediately enter and rescue any firefighter that experiences any difficulties.
Gladwyne Firefighters stood by until the fire was under control and were then put into service assisting with extensive overhaul of the fire building.
Gladwyne Firefighters returned to service just after 8pm. While Engine 24 was in Upper Merion additional Gladwyne Firefighters manned the firehouse ready for any other emergencies in our Village.
Thank you to all of our Firefighters for their dedication!
Thank you to Nick McGuigan for the great photographs |
