| Today just before rush hour, the Bryn Mawr Fire Company was dispatched to the Rosemont College for a gas leak with a vehicle fire. Upon arrival crews found a large natural gas fed fire that involved a construction drilling truck. Command requested Ardmore Fire Company and Gladwyne Engine 24 be dispatched to assist at the fire. Upon arrival of Engine 24, 500 feet of five in hose was placed in service to supplement the firefighting operations and the crew from Engine 24 assisted the initial crew with keeping the fire from spreading until PECO could shut off the gas main. |
