| In the late afternoon hours of November 26, 2008 Gladwyne Firefighters were alerted to a house fire on Williamson Road. Bryn Mawr Fire Company was dispatched to assist at the fire. Ladder 24 arrived to find the caretaker holding back a large exterior fire burning on the side of the house. The crew from the ladder stretched an 1 3/4" hand line and finished extinguishing the fire, while crews from Ladder 23 evaluated the interior of the house with multiple thermal imaging cameras. There was no extension into the house and crews cleared the scene within an hour |
