Gladwyne Responds to Two Radnor Fires in Two Days

Gladwyne firefighters have responded to assist Radnor Fire Company for two working fires during the past two days.

Just before 3pm on Tuesday, Radnor Fire Company arrived to fire showing from the roof area of a large 2 story home in the area of Windsor ave. Gladwyne firefighters responded immediately with RIT and Air. The fire upgraded to a 2nd alarm bringing in more man power to help with extensive overhaul due to heavy fire conditions in the attic. The fire was placed under control a short time later.

Just before 11am on Wednesday, Gladwyne responded again as RIT and Air, first arriving units had fire showing from the offices and storage areas of commercial bus garage on King of Prussia road. Gladwyne firefighters were quickly put in service in the rear of the building. The fire was placed under control soon after.
