Tonight, our Gladwyne family gathered to remember our friend Chief George "Alfie" Culbertson. It was one year ago today that he left us, but we know that he is high above keeping an eye on us making sure we are doing it right.

Our GFC family shared a nice dinner and told funny stories about growing up with Alfie. After dinner we all walked to his grave site that is located in Odd Fellows Cemetary overlooking the center of town and the Firehouse.

We were very blessed to have The Reverand Dr. Hillary D. Raining from Saint Christopher's Church join us for a prayer. Members then placed a beautiful floral wreath on Chief Culbertson's grave.

After many tears and great words from our members, Alfie's wife, kids and grand kids we returned to the firehouse to share more stories of the man we lost one year ago!

We miss you!
