Engine 24 RIT and Air 24 cascade were dispatched around 7:45am this past Friday to assist Bryn Mawr and Radnor Fire Companies on a house fire in the Garrett Hill section of Delaware County. Assistant Chief 23-1 arrived on scene with heavy fire showing from the second floor of a twin home, upgrading to the working fire assignment. Ladder 25 from Ardmore Fire Company was dispatched as well. Fire Fighters from all companies were on scene quickly extinguished the blaze and began extensive overhaul.
