Ladder 24 Assists Norristown Fire Department on 2nd Alarm Fire

Just before lunch time, Gladwyne Firefighters were dispatched to assist the Norristown Fire Department on a 2 alarm fire. The fire was in a row of commercial buildings on Main Street in the area of the County Courthouse. Ladder 24 responded with 7 firefighters and assisted at the fire for just over 2 hours.
Fires area already a physically and mentally demanding activity, but when it is extremely hot it is even more demanding and dangerous.
