Gladwyne Firefighters were woken up a little early this morning for an assist call to Conshohocken Fire Department at 0449 hours. Ladder 24 was dispatched as the Rapid Intervention Crew (FAST) to the 300 block of East Elm Street for a building fire. Ladder 24 responded with 8 firefighters and upon arrival were placed into service assisting with firefighting operations at a row home fire. First in crews did an excellent job extinguishing the fire, but needed some assistance with other firefighting duties which GFC members handled.
